Donate: All giving is tax deductible and goes directly towards workshops, production resources, and mentorship opportunities that help young creators produce high-quality, impactful media. To put things into perspective, we pay our writers $200 per piece published and our photographers $50 per photo published. That doesn’t include the thousands of dollars of administrative and technical support needed to keep our doors open!

As a point of personal privilege, Shift Press is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization, but we also have values. Seeing the majority of Gen-Z shift to the right this election has reminded me that youth-media is in crisis.
